We won't....
We had a couple of passengers and Roo probably could use a week or two off, to get his body right.
Rice, Savage, Stevens and Pierce in ... Long, Longer, Roo and one other passenger (maybe Dunstan) out.
Geelong stretched us wide - and they were able to find each other in space and play keepings off, while we were on the back foot at the end - disorganised and reactive.
No more passengers.

Why why do we play down there? They would easy get 40k plus in melb.

I think it's more like 6 repta, if you include Hobart and Launceston, plus a couple of highly controversial very narrow losses too. Our strike rate is about 50% or thereabouts. We are a lot more likely to beat the Hawks at Launceston than at the MCG at the moment, I think.

i think this game showed just how much we need an elite mid. when the game was there to be won selwood grabbed it. as dusty has done for richmond already a few times this year. bugger trying to find one in the draft, we have drafted one since harvey. we know there are some available, we just have to put up and pay the cost. offer whatever it takes and try our hardest to get them here. As it is we're building a solid bunch, but we need real class. lets say we get lucky and draft one somehow next year - we wait a few years for him to develop.we have the cap, let's use it, or wait and hope for the next few years.

Had Steven been fully match fit with fully functioning lungs we would've possibly won. He was looking like carrying the midfield for the whole game
