Cameron Mooney - a lowly meat head
Anyone hear Mooney on SEN today not rate Seb Ross this week saying the only reason he got as many touches as he did was because Pendlebury was 'off for half the game'?
The guy is such a St Kilda hater and flog of the highest order. How he got the gig is beyond me. Dull, monotone, d**khead.
I can't turn it off quick enough when he's on. Today I was too slow.

Re: Cameron Mooney - a lowly meat head
I can't stand Mooney the looney either. Yet another former player who has an IQ of about the same as his shoe size turned media pundit. When are the media going to get over this trend of only hiring these types of numpty dumpties and start recruiting some articulate and insightful experts, who actually have something in between their ears?millarsaint wrote:Anyone hear Mooney on SEN today not rate Seb Ross this week saying the only reason he got as many touches as he did was because Pendlebury was 'off for half the game'?

I think generally there is an underlying contempt or lack of respect of the Saints from most of the footballing personnel. I was listening to Kane Cornes call of our game last weekend and he displayed nothing but disrespect for the Saints!

I agree, underestimated even by our own fans. Mooney has NFI.#gosaintas wrote:Seb is going to be a star. Such a slow burn.

It was probably because he beat Dangermouse last year.Joe Bloggs wrote:Just trying to get under sebs skin for the next game.
Hopefully he can repeat the task again with a little help from his friends.

Poor Cam. Should stick to betting and alcohol advertising. And putting things up his nose. Much better at those than media commentary. Saw him in action live at the Waltzing on a sporting panel with RoCo and KB. He was that high they had to throw the microphone up to him. Couldn't make sense of anything he said. It was unprofessional and embarrassing for all concerned. RoCo ended up cutting the whole thing short.
I started with nothing and I've got most of it left!

Re: Cameron Mooney - a lowly meat head
Apparently he was matched up on Treloar anyway, shows what Mooney knows.
http://www.heraldsun.com.au/sport/afl/s ... 08ea662da7With 36 disposals, five clearances and seven inside 50 entries against Collingwod, Ross combined a clinically executed run-with role with his ability to roam free and win his own footy.
And it was hardly a one-off, with the talented 23-year-old now consolidating a breakout season in 2016 that was built on the back of his diligent work ethic and intense desire to improve.
Against a Magpies midfield rated the best in the league by Champion Data, Ross helped limit the influence of gun ball-winner Adam Treloar to stamp his name as one of the game’s best.
Given a role on Treloar from stoppages, before breaking free around the field, Champion Data noted that Ross held his counterpart to just seven disposals when directly matched against each other, winning 15 himself.

Seb is not a game breaker, but is a solid midfielder.
Is one of our starting mids

Mooney is a prime example that you only need to be in the boys club to get a gig in footy media, no talent required.

Wouldn't worry about these guys
In Springfield, they're eating the dogs. The people that came in, they're eating the cats. They’re eating – they are eating the pets of the people that live there.

Cam Who ?
"Wouldn't worry about these guys"
Of coarse not, Cam is no doubt attached to his own footy world view but in his case the playing is over and he is left with his own commentary.
Saints will focus on what's needed on the weekend, that's about it I would assume.
Just keep going the way you're going Seb/ keep the good work rolling.

Seb Ross lined up at every centre bounce v Collingwood. Next best Armo 13 of 20 centre clearances.

We should start a thread on dumb footballers who for some reason are allowed to become dumb
football commentators. Matthew Lloyd for a start -- has the dude ever said anything incisive?
