Some brave acts today
Ben 'kamakazee' Long is a madman at the contest.
Don't recall a player as courageous on debut.
Carlisle running back with the flight a couple of times.
Yes he's huge but it still takes heart and team commitment to do it.
Geary in the marking contest against two opponents in the 3rd term.
Total disregard for his safety.

Proudly assuming the title of forum Oracle and serving as the inaugural Saintsational ‘weak as piss brigade’ President.

Re: Some brave acts today
I unfortunately only saw the second half but this was easily highlight for me, courageous and it lead directly to an inside 50 for us, all because our fearless leader was prepared to get crunched in the contest. Good stuff Gears, setting an example for the rest of the team!Joffa Burns wrote:Geary in the marking contest against two opponents in the 3rd term.

Re: Some brave acts today
I think anyone showing upto a skunks game is a brave act..I'm not talking about just the possibility of personal harm from the retarded violent supporters but the fleas that they carry... always a "take your life into your own hands" situation everytime against these morons.
Re: Some brave acts today
Geary was amazing. That one against the two forwards was good. But the one where he left his man and covered 20+ meters to impact the mark then had 2 repeat efforts in the same play to save us was inspirational, pretty sure he was 1 on 3.

Those acts of Gears were inspirational.
Good choice of captain.

He also took a great mark at one stage where he was being monstered by his opponent. Great effort from him.
