Re: Match thread
A win, we played a lot better than ladt week but the goal kicking is deplorable from set shots. We will have to be bwtter at finishing if we want win 3.
Think of me long enough to make a memory.

Re: Match thread
One thing I noticed about Billings as the game went on was that his confidence grew.
He really wanted the ball, demanding the ball even.
Really enjoyed his game... slow start. But hopefully he can build on it going forward.
If he kicked straight he could've had nearly 30 touches and 5-6 goals.
Fair effort

Yeah, Billings played well, got better and better... His execution was still down?
But at least he got involved

Acres too just doesn't panic (seems laconic at times - Harvey ish).

Agreed, seems to be a real confidence player. Just needs to add some polish and he will be okMC Gusto wrote:Billings can build from here

Long showed something IMO
Acres has some amazing traits, however he can make bizarre decisions with the ball???
He needs to take the first good option

He still didn't go hard at the contest a couple of times. But I am a fan. Hope he can find consistency because he did a good job on the Pies last year and not much else for the season, though it was injury affected.The_President wrote:One thing I noticed about Billings as the game went on was that his confidence grew.

A fter the game in the rooms he was standing next to carlisle.
He looked only about 6 or 7 cm shorter

We should kick more of the set shots
One year will be our year
Re: Match thread
Jimmy is around 6'2"
Classified as a medium/small defender due to his pace and agility
Was excellent again

Re: Match thread
Our set shot goal kicking is deplorable. Would be under or around the 30% mark.
It is the primary reason we did not beat WCE and has continued since.
I still don't think we have made it out of second or third gear. Some players are close, but we are nowhere near playing to our potential.

Fatigue would be a major reason for our poor execution

Re: Match thread
Nothing like beating the filth. At 1/4 time I thought we were going to lose. Is Mav struggling for form at present? Also, disappointed in Dunstan, is he up to it?
Rugby League would have to be the stupidest, most moronic and over rated game of all time.
