Billings just shanked one into the 50 - he has to be better than that. Ends up a goal to Brisbane

Brisbane are atrocious.
I wouldnt be taking much out of this.
They play in to our hands with lots of poor handballs.
Smarter teams will use precision kicking to break up our swarm.

He isnt very good though.
He should be chopping this bunch up, provided we actually pass to him. Honestly, if he's quiet for a few more weeks, do we have other options (Marshall, Battle)? Billings too...watching The Bont last night (on a quiet night) made me laugh and cry at companisons between him and Billings.

Why was it not deliberate when Martin punched it out before? And a Bris defender did the same earlier. Why are defenders belting it out with no intention of keeping it in exempt? Ridiculous and stupid rule!

We really are a horrible side to watch. We put immense pressure on only to squander shot after shot on goal.

Billings and McCartin our two great hopes have been pathetic and not living up to there draft position.

Whilst we have an abundance of decent players,we badly lack A class players, where are we going to get them because we didn't draft them with our two top 3 picks when we were on the bottom.

We had Brisbane on the ropes but terrible execution and finishing cost us.

We have really poor skills abd decision making.

Pathetic Saints!

50 50 game.

Let's be honest, it's not good enough. Our 3 key forwards haven't got 10 goals between them this year.

Stinker of a game. first team that can find a bit of form will win it.
McCartin getting some idea of what Roo has had to battle his whole career - crappy delivery.

Got a bad feeling about this. Brissy r playing a high possession bases games lots of handballs lots of short kicks to keep the ball. Didn't work first qtr but starting to work now. I'd rather play their style than our dumb swarm long term. They will get better at keeping the ball

U don't take ur chances it kills u. They r better round the ball but we've done some good intercepts.

What will Ricoh do to stop their momentum if they come out firing? Anything?

Our forward line clearly isn't working.

Take a rest Paddy.

Riewoldt and Montagna are our highest posessiin winners.

All major stats favouring Brisbane.

Worrying signs.

We may also fade after game in the heat.

Brace yourselves for a loss.

I gotta say, I've not witnessed Richo do a lot of inter-game coaching...all seems to be done before we turn up.

We are not a good side.
Usual suspects. Billings, McCartin, Gilbert, Lonie doing nothing.
Roberton and Savage are both bog average.

McCartin and Billings have been extremrly disappointing. At least McCartin gives it 100% and has some excuse re poor delivery. Billings is invisible.

At least Carlisle and Brown look ok.

Our midfield is seriously undermanned. We should have selected one more and one less tall.

Big difference is Roo has multiple facets to his game. McCartin is lead, drop, fall over.
McCartin more like Kosi than Roo.

Oh yes, and Lonie. What is the point of him. I can't see it.

Billings attack on the ball reminds me of Aaron Fiora. He is bitterly disappointing at this stage of his career.

Oh god, don't say it...I was thinking just the same thing at the Melbourne game. If Lonie continues in the same vein, surely we're gonna look at Long? If Billings continues, maybe we can look at Dal!
