Also, hostile away game in Perth, they were always going to pay Geary's OFB as deliberate.

Joey and Gears spoke to the umps....
It'll be 30 free kicks to 0 in West Coast's favour in the second half.

Do not meddle in the affairs of Dragons; for you are a quick and tasty morsel.
Re: Match thread v Eagles
Anyone else think that the commentators should be calling the umpiring out? I mean lake mentioned it briefly at 7-0 free kicks. I mean this happens overtime we play out west - how often does a team only get 2 free kicks in a half?
Having said that got to be happy with the intensity the boys are playing with! Just need to kick straight.

Re: Match thread v Eagles
I am trying to calm down and forget the umps.
We are killing ourselves with poor goal kicking.
20 scoring shots to 11.
The game should be all over.
Unfortunately we know the Eagles will get a run on at some stage. So I am very nervous.
Our overall effort has been top notch.
Only negatives - Steele, Newnes, Gresham and Webster having shockers.
Everyone else has been either good or ok.
As usual our ability to convert effort into goals is just not good enough. We expended a lot of energy for only 8 goals.

Someone posted here we had one of the lowest free kick counts ever in 2015 against WCE with 6... We're well on the way to breaking that unfortunate record23Buckets wrote:Anyone else think that the commentators should be calling the umpiring out? I agree, why arent the commentators saying anything. Because last night they did, and clearly got in trouble for it, because today and last night after the game it was all about , no its the new rule blah blah blah.23Buckets wrote:Anyone else think that the commentators should be calling the umpiring out? Re: Match thread v Eagles
Come on, we all know what happens...
After the umps gift WCE 7 odd goals,
They'll give use 8-9 frees in junk time to even up he numbers so we can't blame them for our 30 point loss

Instead of switching your mobile phone to flight mode, switch on the record mode and try to sit near the white maggots. I reckon we are seeing "whispers in the air Mk2".

We need to tidy up our disposal.

To be fair to that umpire he is a moron.kosifantutti wrote:After the Mav "point" Hurn stuffed the kick up. Gaff was tackled and just threw it away, then Hurn is tackled and he just lies on top of the ball waiting for the umpire to call a ball up. 30 seconds of unbelievable incompetence.

Bruce and Members are yet to hit their straps so if they start firing WC may not have the answers to our forward line. They aren't liking the way we are moving it so quickly putting them on the back foot. They like to dominate at home with hard presses but we are cutting them up and making them back off. We're shutting the crowd down well.
