It is more that:

You cannot tip against the same team 2 weeks in a row.


So those that picked the Tigers to defeat the Blues cannot in Round 2 pick the team that plays the Blues. In Round 2 this happens to be Melbourne.

So if you picked the Tigers in Round 1 you can select from any team to win except Melbourne. You can select the Blues to win. But you cannot select the Dees to beat the Blues.

Please spell my pseudonym correctly, darylcowie was probably the worst player to have notched up 50 games for the club and pales into insignificance compared to other more illustrious number 20s such as Armo, Matty Young and Micky Dwyer, but at least have the decency to spell his/my name correctly when you reference him/me.

Now to go completely off thread, I had a gut feeling about the crows pre-season and I think they will be premiers!
