Pretty poor forward line effort- no one leading, midfield just bombing the ball. I was hoping that problem might be fixed this season

Q3 done. More difficulty scoring but defensive work evenly pretty good. Port waking up and actually converting. Us 7.7.49 Them 41.

When your streaming clear from the centre surely you have to pass it to someone (and they should be leading) instead of just bombing it long.

Newbies have all done well. Stevens, Steele, Big Jake all solid.

Nathan Brown less visible but keeping Dixon quiet. Seriously it is a revelation to have he and Carlisle stand tall in the backline while Shinner runs free (and, as usual, cops one in the head - perpetrator reported on the spot).

Gresh wearing the #4 with distinction already.

Actually, I've been interested in Richo playing him down back. I think he's been ok. A couple of frees against, but better than serviceable.

Pathetic - based on that a long year

Midfield a worry - Ross Dunstan Stevens Armo all in the same side won't do it for us.

Can see why Stevens did not play many games for the other 2 clubs he was at
Newnes for a good kick turns it over more than most
