Match Thread v Power JLT Round 1
FINAL TEAM. Acres, Sinclair and Webster omitted.
Really disappointing in 8cres not playing. This strong side for the 23rd of Feb doesn't make much sense.

No Acres? WTF? Is AR sending him another message like last year?
I started with nothing and I've got most of it left!

I can't wait. And Steve Smith just went out 4-149 so the cricket won't be worth watching

How about Gears along the boundary, twice! And then our forwardline working like a UNIT. A BIG Unit. Go sainters!

2 goals to Skunk, both through excellent passages of play.
Early days, but I can't see Roo "easing" into retirement.
Another goal, J Billings from a set shot. I wanna see more of that!

If it's still like this on 23 August, the lid off!

So much to like in Q1. But most of all watching a big bloke wearing the 2 take marks in the backline. Blessed bloody relief!!! 29-2, Port scratching around wondering what next ...

Qtr time Saints 29 Power 2.
Started well then got sloppy going forward. But kept going forward. Finished the quarter strongly.
Our ball movement is too fast for PA and, at time, too fast for ourselves. Can't knock it though, I like what I am seeing.

Had we kicked straight would have been 3 or 4 goals more ahead ...

Re: Match Thread v Power JLT Round 1
One area unfortunately we have improved in, and that's kicking straight to the opposition when coming into the forward line- can't believe it! We should be six goals in front. Good effort, but Paddy seems unusually hesitant so far- hope he goes a bit harder in the contest. Good quarter from Dunstan, Membrey

Solid defence is very impressive.
Good structure
Quick movement, sloppy at times.
Great to just have it back.
What a pass
