He will still have to earn his place in the team with very good performances.
Competition for places will be strong this year.

In full training again today - he is going strong at present.

That photo... Geez he looks built. Can't wait to see him out in the Saints jumper, even if it is just a preseason game.

Let's just hope that Freeman is not our new Michael Jez.

Cox said he had a hip problem that put him out of action for a week or two but wasn't too bad. He could battle a lot of these little problems as he readjusts his style of running and his body adjusts. I really feel for him. I know he's on $300k so hard to cry for him but these young guys live to play. Just gotta be patient. Hopefully he'll get some game time in the JLT and then start stringing some VFL games together. Then we can see what he can actually deliver.

Presumably this latest injury is a "two week" one?

If we don't see Nate at all in the JLT series, I wonder if What Jamie Cox let slip earlier in the preseason might be true. IIRC he hinted that the process was all about getting Nathan "right" rather than hurrying him along. I'm paraphrasing, but he added something along the lines of, "If he doesn't play senior footy in 2017, then so be it." I just hope the boy can get himself right, physically and psychologically. The latter may be a bigger factor than the former.

If you are waiting for Christiaan Barnard, you will be waiting for a while as he died in 2001.

We might need Superman or Doctor Strange to reverse the world then.

Good luck to the young fella, would love him to get over whatever ails him and play some regular footy.
