Sorry, wasn't Aldo DiPetta. What a name that was though. Aldo played a handful of games for us in late 1990 and played for Sydney afer that.
But no, it wasn't him.

Spot on jed.
Played his first game against Fitzroy in 1989, had a knee injury in 1990, I think was delisted and redrafted and came back to wear no. 50.
I liked him before I even saw him play, due mainly to the fact that as I was an 8 year old, Lazar Vidovic was the coolest name I’d ever heard.
Many Saints fans, myself included believe had he not done his knee in the last home and away game of 97, we’d have won the premiership. Would have been his last game and he would have snotted the Harvey taggers, and McLeod and Jarman just to go on with it.

31st August 1997, such a sad day.
Of the 1966 Premiership side, who had the shortest career?

Sorry it was Jong Bingley.
I was replying to the Sierakowski answer at the same time that you were posting Bingley.
He only played 8 games for the Saints.

I stumbled across a good question and if st_craig doesn't mind I'll ask it...
Who is the only footballer to play in a seniors’ and reserves’ premiership with St Kilda?

Roger Head, is only footballer to play in a seniors’ and reserves’ premiership with St Kilda, having played in the reserves’ triumph in 1961 and the seniors’ flag team in 1966;
well done...
