Where were you when the Saints won the flag?

I was too young to remember but I'm sure there's a few around who have some memories of the day.

Re: 50 years ago today
I remember the record being played over, and over, and over...The whole street went mad, and every backyard had a tent with a keg. My old man spent a fair bit of time with Tommy Bent's statue...not sure what they were doing.
*Allegedly.

At the G standing room old Southern Stand.
Later at the Brighton Club Hotel, Ralph Sierakowski's pub. As a sixteen year old probably the first time I got pissed. They weren't too fussy who they served the free beer to.
My brother was celebrating his 14th birthday!

Sitting on the wing as a 12 year old. Still waiting for the next one.
Was there on the outer wing as a youngster flying the flag in '66 - still loyal, still passionate!

Right up the back of the old Western Stand (which was torn down the week after) right under the umpire's name on the scoreboard. That was the spot my Dad arranged to meet me when he dropped me off at 6:50 in the morning on his way home from work. I was 10 years old and stood on my little folding stool the entire day without a pit-stop.
The one day in my life that I can clearly recall EVERYTHING that happened 50 years on!

Too young to remember it, unfortunately. Just 4 years old. My earliest footy memory was the replay of the following year's GF, the Geelong Richmond classic. I just want to be around to see them win just one. I've seen them in 5 GFs and they haven't saluted once. Sigh!
I started with nothing and I've got most of it left!
