Norf and their pathetic exit was the highlight of the weekend finals games for me. Good to see them get what they deserved.
Just had a look the finals fixtures for the next two weeks and the Fri prelim is Geelong vs the winner of next Saturday nights game Syd vs Adel. So they are nicely shafted with a 6 day break and if Adelaide win they are forced to overnight in Sydney and have a very short turnaround.
The Hawks/Dogs semi is Fri night with the winner having a nice 8 day break before playing the AFL Wet Dream Giants (AFLWDG) on Saturday at Spotless, time TBA, which has a massive capacity of 24,000. Good luck getting a seat to that for the Hawks fans (assuming they roll Footscray)
i am Melbourne Skies - sometimes Blue Skies, Grey Skies, even Partly Cloudy Skies.
GWS - great win but I've said all along I don't think they can win 3 big finals without more experience under their belt. But 1 down.
Cats - still think they are a bit up and down. They were up. Will they be a bit down in the prelim?
Hawks - think will win this week and then can travel to Sydney and still win. Their system holds up everywhere and they are the masters of shutting down sharks like GWS who have to move to breath
Swans - I've said for a while I thought Swans too Buddy focused - like Roo for us he is so dominant and runs so much they can't help but look for him so much and makes them a bit one dimensional. Tippet still goes MIA in big games. Should win next week though
Dogs - great effort but I suspect they will run out of petrol tickets next week
Adelaide - bit of a dark horse but don't think they enough inner fortitude away from Adelaide
North - could never beat the good teams. Nuff said
West Coast - believed their own press.

Maybe evil is too strong of a word but unsociable empire just doesn't have the same ring to it.
Or is it like a horror movie where you think the villain is dead but in the last shot you see them slink away to regenerate and come back in the sequel to terrorise everyone again?
I would love to see doggies in a grannie. Hoping GWS might get cold feet with the pressure and only 1 game in 3 weeks. Swans should win tonight at home.
