Re: Saintsational Annual Remembrance Day for Plugger66
Obviously passionate about the club in real life but I don't think this forum was a good place for him or his mental wellbeing (unfortunately).
I hope he's doing well in person and he's enjoying the rise of the Saints. But his posting habits really hurt the forum.
It's become a much more civil place since. That's a good thing.

Clueless and mediocre petty tyrant.

Weird thread , plugger obviously is ingrained in people's psyche . Still laying the boots in a year later. Time to move on or bring him back.

If Plugger66 got banned, so should several others who continually baited him or jumped all over his threads.
Personally, I think his ban has been long enough and he should be invited back.

Never had a problem with him. When the incessant arguing started with other posters I just moved on. He actually knew his stuff and I enjoyed his insights. Didn't agree with everything but how boring would this palce be if we all agreed on everything. He only became belligerent when others started in on him.

At the very least you have to admit that Plugger66 was a passionate saints supporter. Not like a number of trolls who are allowed to lurk on this site and continually try and belittle and denigrate our club. I know who I would much rather have on Saintsational.st.byron wrote:Crossed the line massively. Didn't just cross it, obliterated it.CURLY wrote:Dont understand why he had to go. Not doubting his passion for the Saints and love of footy.derby Street wrote:At the very least you have to admit that Plugger66 was a passionate saints supporter. Whatever his ways of arguing and whether you liked it or not, that wasn't the reason he was permanently banned. The reason was that he sent a lot of extremely personal, offensive and abusive PM's. As I said, not just crossed the line, obliterated it.

Gotta disagrre with Saintsational- Bigfooty comparisonderby Street wrote:Being so contrary did become tiresome but every now and every now and again he did offer some good insights. Used to be the exact opposite.
Plugger gets his fair share of critics over there too but he is not ganged up on like here and generally accepted for how he is. Which in my mind is a great forum member and Saints man.
Knows his footy and is generally always correct which flies in the face of most as most people live in dreamland.
Saintsational barely has a pulse these days but at least everyone is singing from the same playbook.
I'm heading back over to bigfooty.

BF thread topic range is miniscule compared to Saintsational and activity is pretty much centred around a couple of threads
Trade and FA thread - Drafting Kids thread - and maybe the Sandy gameday or Saints gameday threads - thats about it
Sure the Trade and drafting thread is prolific and great and the Draft kid thread is interesting but thats about it
Lot more varied discussion on here covering a lot more topics
I would think also both sites would be would be frequented by the same posters just under different nicks

Worst thing about him was just arguing for the sake of being contrary. Absolutely no idea about anything but just took the opposite view. Hated him
I found him the most logical on this site - which just makes me think you had s*** views most of the time that just needed calling out.
Logical, realistic - a minority on the forum.

Fair post. I think in real life he would be an interesting bloke to talk to. But on here, no, in terms of his posting style.evertonfc wrote:Obviously passionate about the club in real life but I don't think this forum was a good place for him or his mental wellbeing (unfortunately).

USELESS FACT: The WADA case against Essendon (in Sydney as well) is exactly 10 years to the day that Australia qualified for the 2006 FIFA World Cup.

That's actually not tr
I just didn't trust the guy to manage it properly.
That was my opinion, and nothing has changedat
since to alter it.
His final abusive meltdown resulting in his permanent banning vindicated my opinion of him.
You didn't single out Plugger. You didn't trust me or any of the other 100s of contributors to the site except for two posters.
I don't really remember, but if sponsorship involved me giving banking details or my name there are only a few on here I would trust. I'm not disputing your claim but I do remember being unhapy that plugga put his hand up which left me out.
Your reaction to my posts at the time was why for the first time I didn't contontribute where in the past I had given MM at least 100 bucks every year.
Life experiences has taught me not to be overly trusting where mony is involved.
No offence meant as this years sponsorship was very successgul. thanks to you.

I don't think borderbarry or you gett it.
He wasn't banned for banter, he was banned for threatening bfusa and his family.
The ban was warranted
