hard to know if it hurts less if they do a one in all in announcement- like pulling a bandaid -
or drib and drabs dragging it out.....

Re: Delistings
Any insight into why? Why not any longer to develop?
I don't mind all that much. If recruitment/development don't foresee that he can make it then I'm happy that the call is made earlier rather than persisting with no outcome e.g. Curren, Saunders

He started behind the pack and was a bit of a project player but he had a few good games... Thought he was worth another yearsasaint wrote:Really?skeptic wrote:I'm a little surprised at that

Re: Delistings
Isn't he a rookie? They don't really count. We need to chop 3 from the main list at leastSainter_Dad wrote:Brenton Payne

Re: Delistings
I'd prefer it all in one hit but as long as it's 4 or 5 from the main list I'll be happy.saintbrat wrote:hard to know if it hurts less if they do a one in all in announcement- like pulling a bandaid -

Why don't you like it bratty? It's not like all the players on our list will take us forward - we need to make room for draftees and free agents, better trying that then hanging on to deadwood that is highly unlikely to progress.

Re: Delistings
It is tough for the lad but not a surprise. Two years as a rookie, and by the end of the second year was still mainly in the Sandy Develolment team. We have to make room for new blood next year. Best of luck, Brenton.

Rookies spots will be tight in 2017. One of the 2 Irishmen already committed to has to take a normal rookie slot.
NOK and Coghlan both showed enough to be kept, but not necessarily elevated
Fisher may require one.

But if Longer goes in exchange for something to meet our needs, retain Holmes
