Perhaps check their post history before saying this isn't a troll.Jacks Back wrote:

Yes I looked at that before doing the warning. Agree there are some strange posts there, but also some that read as a legitimate Saints fan.Griggsy wrote:Perhaps check their post history before saying this isn't a troll.Jacks Back wrote:

Either way, the best thing to do if you suspect someone is trolling is to report it and not jump in and abuse them directly.
And certainly not to abuse someone on the basis of their literacy.

Re: Dreem trade
Pav, am doing my job of applying rules equally and not allowing people to be abused based on discrimination. Agree that there are some unusual posts coming from that poster, but whatever the poster's intention, abusing someone on the basis of their literacy is not ok. The post earlier in this thread that drew a warning has had the abuse edited out, but the poster specifically abused the OP poster on the basis of their literacy competency.SaintPav wrote:Oh ffs.

You may be right that the OP poster is trolling, in which case that will be clear in time. Troll or not, their spelling is not a reason to abuse them.

The Pav or Merret suggestion is as subtle as a brick to the face.

Mods, please get rid of this troll. Allowing him access only encourages the person and ruins the forum for the rest of us.

I'm was less talking about the topics of their posts and more to the literacy of the previous posts, either the poster has suffered a horrific accident in the past week which has limited their capabilities or they are taking the pissst.byron wrote:Yes I looked at that before doing the warning. Deledio is around 30 no way anyone would trade a high first round for him as he is aging and has been plagued with injury recently. Also doubt Giants would accept pick 24 for Steele.i reckon Deledio worth pick
18-25 and Steele 15-21
Well Arno is from qld and pick 9 is high so I reckon it is a chance but... Do we really want jaeger? I know he is a gun and we have a lot of interest but after his injury concerns recently I dunno if it's a risk worth taking, especially after Carlisle and freeman last year. Also there is no way we would trade Armitage especially with Riewoldt handing over leadership they definitely won't want to harm current leadership group.
Is there any chance jaeger is interested in st kilda by any chance?
Would love to bring him in but dunno whether I would include an experienced big bodied mid like armitage in trade as we need them as shown by last night
Also I've read on the web that we are 'apparently leading the race for jack Steele' but others are saying he is interested in going to Richmond ???

Re: Dreem trade
Yes agree that trolling or other possibilities are there.
But with banning / suspending best to err on the side of caution I reckon.

With English skills like that, he or she should be forced to go back to school or else deported.

May be he does have some "intellectual disability" but your choice of words show little understanding. You have obviously never worked with special needs people.
So are you suggesting that intellectually needs people should be banned from the site as you state?

Can't spell 'dream' (or 'there' or 'could'... Can spell 'would' sometimes, then not) but can spell 'experienced'.
Of course it's a troll.

Some other sites don't allow you to post until you have been a member for a specified period of time.
Maybe we need to consider something similar during the off season?

So your not happy with Australia's immigration policy. So if a person fleeing a war torn country whom cannot spell very well on arrival they should be made to go back to where they came from ...omg!

He wants attention. That's all. He thinks he's clever and funny. He's not. He would do well to heed the words of Martin Luther King. "I had a dream. Where I lived in a society where a man was not judged by the colour of his skin, but by the quality of his posts. I had a dream."
The mods of the day changed the last bit to, "but by the content of his character." They thought it was an improvement. I beg to differ.
