I personally think it is very uncharitable to pillory someone just because their prediction turned out to be wrong.
A couple of points need to be made in defence of the poster.
The Saints were definitely keen on Hurley. I am sure they offered him a deal. At one stage he may have even given the impression he was going to move.
But in the end Hurley stuck with the Bombers.
I personally think he is insane after what they pumped into his system but that is Michael Hurley.
Anyway, onwards and upwards. Bring on Jaeger, Caleb and A. Tomlinson.

Instead of looking at players who want the big bucks maybe we should be looking for the gems among the rough like Membrey, Weller, Bruce, Roberton, Hickey, Longer, Savage and Dempster.

Another one who's into O'Meara. Why do think he's worth the risk seeing as he hasn't played for two years, except for half a reserves game after which he needed further knee surgery? Sounds to me as though his career's stuffed.
