Re: Billings
I think for Billings to be a gun he needs to improve his running - he's never going to be tough and hard - but not everyone on the team has to be a hard man - he should be a link man with excellent disposal - needs to get himself in the right spot to make that happen 30+ times a game - he will never be a Dustin Martin so needs to be able to get round the park more like Tom Scully
Re: Billings
Tom Scully is an aerobic machine.... Like Kelly
Billings needs to improve in all aspects...including running... Like all of the younger players

I think you're right - but to be fair to him he has been plagued by injury which makes it hard to get the miles into the legs.saint6709 wrote:I think for Billings to be a gun he needs to improve his running - he's never going to be tough and hard - but not everyone on the team has to be a hard man - he should be a link man with excellent disposal - needs to get himself in the right spot to make that happen 30+ times a game - he will never be a Dustin Martin so needs to be able to get round the park more like Tom Scully

You mean like the game against Hawthorn earlier in the season?Myron Gaines wrote:One of the most ineffectual 25 touch & 1 goal games you'll see. Of course he improved on last weeks game. We played Richmond instead of Sydney. Richmond laid 44 tackles & applied minimal pressure. Billings needs to start playing well when the heat is on & be a more damaging player. That was his pre-draft bio. He's still young & has time on his side. But we invested pick 3 on the kid so the bar has been set high.

He sunk Collingwood at the G in Round 3 when he dropped a goal from 50 under a heap of pressure.Animal Enclosure wrote:You mean like the game against Hawthorn earlier in the season?Myron Gaines wrote:One of the most ineffectual 25 touch & 1 goal games you'll see.
