On that performance the Swans will win it easily this season and we are a mile off contending.

I actually wonder if we didn't miss a massive opportunity. The pride game...if there ever was an opportunity for us mid way through the 3rd when it all turned to s&%t...have Roo go up to the umpires and say "this needs to stop or we are walking off". Just imagine that defining moment...we walk off with a rainbow flag in hand...would win thousands of fans, cement St Kilda as an eclectic group and put the umpires on notice. Did it have anything to do with Pride? Probably not....But Christ we need to make some sort of stand against this ongoing, s&^thouse umpiring. It wont show up so much on the overall frees to/against but where they happen, in the course of the game, have just killed us all year...

We pay a fortune for the ground under the rent & buy arrangement.
Buy that is for the AFL that is not for us.
That then makes us dependent on the AFL for handouts.
We then have to submit to their corruption.

Meanwhile Eddie, my team plays at MCG and hasn't paid a cent, wants to sell the ground immediately.
Pocket a share of the money then build a new ground and charge us rent to cover the cost of construction yet again.

We actually got a fair run while we were competitive. Once Sydney got on top the umps reverted to type, particularly that bald-headed d**khead. They love a winner

the 3rd quarter broke my heart. not as a saints supporter but as a supporter of the game itself.
Year after year i watch just about every single game(not just saints), i watch decisions not just to influence the way the game goes but to influence how many people are interested in the sport(go to SUBI vs anyone if you dont believe it). I understand the Saints dropped off in the 2nd half i am no way under any impression that we didnt. But how many times do you have to be shafted before you say enough is enough.

It's times like these i wish i supported a big or new club. As its all about how much $$$ they can bring in now.

I am seriously considering throwing in my membership at this moment... not because of anything that the club i have worn my heart on my sleeve for for 20+ years has done.. but because i refuse to give any more money to a clearly corrupt organisation that have lost the idea of what sport is about and only focus on how much money it can bring in.


In what sport can an officiating umpire be caught saying "now i know what it feels like to have a win" after blatant cheating and not even be investigated.
