Re: Get rid of Fisher
Fisher having a poor start. Selectors are the problem. Chips will get back into form by end of game but should have not been rushed back in.

Being such a staunch Saints supporter Chittywest, I'm surprised you're commenting on a negative instead of all the positives out if today.

Re: Get rid of Fisher
To get rid of him before the season finished would show a terrible lack of respect for someone who has been AA, wn our B & F. and still holds his place in our defence. As a matter of fact I am not looking forward to our defence without him.

Re: Get rid of Fisher
Your sentiments are far too harshly worded for a Saints supporter.
How you could possibly voice those words in that tone about one of our absolute champions bewilders me.
Yes Chips is coming to an end and I do think this will be his last season BUT please show a little more respect.
I agree he made a couple of mistakes (burnt Mav twice) but he also did a couple of his trademark intercepts.
I hope I'm not alone in my sentiments.

You're not alone. Absolute champion. Should never be spoken about in those terms.
It's probably his last year and you can't buy what he's able to teach the kids on the way out. I feel confident when he has the ball; first week back after a bad hammy, give him a bloody break.

Exactly. Any real Saints fan wouldn't say things like that. In defence of CW, maybe he/she has some sort of disorder that is not being properly treated.

Don't know who you are but Chips is a two time B & F winner and has been an integral part of the club & is now mentoring the kids have always noticed how some of your posts are very negative it's a pity THAT YOU ARE SO NEGATIVE after such a great win ,lucky we love all our supporters !

Agree. Citywest when you post an OP like that you totally set yourself up for accusations of trolling. Have some respect man. Chips was awesome for a long time.lintonstreet wrote:Your sentiments are far too harshly worded for a Saints supporter.

Re: Get rid of Fisher
Agree with part of this if not the delivery…
Lee was a standout last week in defence, was our best defender, then kicked 3 goals in the last quarter.
We have everything to gain by finding a player in Lee yet don't seem prepared to give him a decent go at all, even when he's thoroughly earnt a chance.
Fisher looked under-done today and is 3 weeks of retirement anyway… bit of a waste of an opportunity today IMO.
