We are shite, tonight, the occasion was too much for our team to handle.

The Saints are under review, will it make any difference to the underachievers ?

He needs to stop playing in the ruck... He sucks at it and he's exhausting himself.Tom_Sainter wrote:Surely Bruce needs a spell has been unlucky tonight but really had a poor year. Needs to find some form in the magoos

To not kick at least 10 against opposition the ilk of North...we've got some work to do. Never mind, I only expected 10 for the year, we've seen some improvement and can now clearly identify areas that need work. Better than previous years when we were so hapless we didn't know where to start!

Boomer Harvey - must be one of the most boring people ever to have played the game. Even his closest friends couldn't think of anything to say about him. "We love him because - er - he's a good bloke".
Re: Match Thread Rnd 19 Saints vs Nth Melb
he has to play in the ruck... who the hell else can?
the hardest running a footballer does at league level now.. is the high intensity forward running... its almost a rest to have a run around on the ball which for a ruckman is just continuous running... not the repeat power running a forward does...
I think its a good idea that he has a run around on the ball, to get a touch and some freedom
he is in woeful form atm and has lost all confidence

Yeah same here. Thought he was one of our best, and his constant running through packs didn't seem to get him into trouble as much tonight. One of the positives. The Fireman wrote:was critical of Acres in the past few games..slow etc...I really liked him tonight

A couple of the young ones stood up tonight, never stopped trying, the sense of occasion got to a few though. they got stage fright in front of 45, 000 and forgot how to kick straight.
