Interesting that you couldn't find a spot for dunstan. He was instrumental out of the centre. Can't argue with the blokes you have in there but he at least deserves a mentionBigMart wrote:Very hard to split... Except Jack S

Re: Votes vs Doggies
Dunstan was ok and won some inside ball... Played one of his better games
But again, 17 touches as a starting inside mid is not going to get it done for a vote
He was not poor by any means... But I had the others as clear winners in there positions

Re: Votes vs Doggies
5 Steven - another huge game from our little unstoppable dynamo. I'm prepared to say that Jack is now elite. He is one of the best players in the comp at the moment.
4 Mav - seemed like he wanted to prove something tonight - was aggressive from the outset (almost too aggressive early) and was able to be a huge presence with a physicality that scared the dogs defenders
3 Rooey - his presence was huge along with 4 goals. WAs constantly our get out kick when we looked pinned in. We got a bit too Rooey focused later in the match but his gut running on second and third leads is still something to behold
2 Dempster - rolled back the clock tonight. 10 marks! - his reading of the flight of the ball was outstanding. And his distribution by foot was excellent - if kicked it like that every week I'd get off Dempsters case.
1 Roberton - I thought Roberton set the tone early by being an attacking defensive player that put the dogs on the back foot. They realised they couldn't just run forward at will.
Apologies to the rest of the team as there wasn't a weak link out there (well maybe Brucey but he still worked hard)

Re: Votes vs Doggies
Fair enough, I thought his 6 clearances (equal high with Steven) and 6 tackles (second to Steven and equal with Armo) were pretty influential. Also went at 88% efficiency.BigMart wrote:Dunstan was ok and won some inside ball... Played one of his better games

Re: Votes vs Doggies
sorry for being offtopic but - like the Geelong game - I love knocking off work at 10 Sat night, hurrying to the smoko room to check the score on my phone. Great stuff Saints!

Or with Geary
Finally people understand why he has played 150 or more AFL games, why he is basically vice captain and that he'll finish top 10 in the B&F yet again.
