Sorry I wasnt meaning it in a nitpicking way. I just meant whenever I read 'resigns' I immediately think there is some huge scandal on the cards. Not complaining about the grammar.

Back on topic:
I dont think Rockliff is a good fit for us - too old and plays in a position where we are already ok (Ross, Dunstan, Armo, Acres). A straight swap for Armo is an option I guess?
Prestia - Apparently has told GC he wants a trade to Carlton. Similar to Gresham?
JO'M - well if we can get him then great. I cant see how we can get him with a pick 9.

NTA, that narrows the field. He's a very good player, but I'm less than devastated. I just hope we don't go for a discounted, injury-prone "potential" star. I'm a Freeman fan, but one on the list is the most you should carry. BTW, in my browser the heading came up as the correct form, RE-SIGNS. Just sayin'.............

2012 groin surgery - out for entire season.

2015 - knee re-co. Out for entire season.

2016 - Yet to appear on the park at senior level. Played one or two games in the seconds I think.

Recruiting a gun mid would be awesome. Perfect age profile for us too. But a guy who has missed 3 seasons out of 5 with groin and knee issues? No thanks. Big big big risk IMO. We've already spent a second rounder on Freeman and who knows if he'll ever have a senior career. I wouldn't like to see us take another big risk on a player with a history of serious injuries, especially when he hasn't returned from the last one.

It has nothing to do with "self-esteem" issues and I love conversation, but resigns and re-signs are 100% opposite meanings. One means that he is available and the other that he is no chance of beeing picked up.
