Impressive interview.
The rainbow game is a worthy initiative, a first for professional sport anywhere in the world we think.
So we're world leaders in something at least. Good work Saints

We sure are, particulary after the two clowns that preceded him.prwilkinson wrote:Very lucky to have Matty Finnis... Hope he stays at the club for several more years.

I saw Roo nominated Geary and Steven as potential skippers for next year.

Insightful, Matt is the real deal communicating where we are as a club. Gave Roo the recognition he deserves plus the effort of Richo / Aaron Hammill with Tim Membrey. Plus the way we play with the Gresh and Maverick Weller ...great pressure, composure and good kicking....... Love Paddy and his progress, membership up, Rainbow colours with the numbers vs Swans. We need this communication. Well done Saints .....................

With Matt and Alan at the helm we are in good hands. Don't think I've ever felt so confident in the way the club is being run on and off the field. With our new facilities coming up and the general feel in the AFL and media circles that we are going places we must be starting to look very attractive to players wanting a new start. Good times!!

Re: Matt Finnis on radio- various topics
You might all be right, I hope you are, and I agree it feels like we're on the right track. But still a bit soon to get too excited about him. Really, what's he actually achieved? Regular losses, membership is a bit up but is still crap compared to others, Moorabbin move is just plans so far. Communicates well but that doesn't necessarily transfer into success and hasn't so far. I feel like I'm sounding like P66 here but it's not much more than talk at the moment.

Let's not forget Foxy playing Morwood and Foschini without clearances, back in 1983. We've always been "trailblazers" at the saints, literally when it comes to dwarves.bigcarl wrote:Yes, that was another first by StKFC.Johnny Member wrote:We are still revered by dwarf burners the world over.bigcarl wrote:Impressive interview.

I started with nothing and I've got most of it left!
