Re: changes for next week
Yeah Armo has been a bit disappointing for most of the year. Saw him live earlier in the season and he looked really slow and stiff, no agility.
Saw a bit of the Sandy game vs Franga and Nick O'Kearney stood out a bit, worked hard and used it pretty well.
I always like DMac, always gives a contest (or three). Will win or nullify the ball given half a chance. Pretty good in the air too.
Sinclair fan too, would love to see him given a more of a go in the middle, he's very good in traffic and makes good decisions.
Not sold on Eli yet, would like to see more impact on the game, seems like his contested work is improving which is good.

I suppose you'd make no changes and congratulate the blokes on a fantastic effort last week!!!

Re: changes for next week
No i would make changes but not some of the ridiculous ones you mentioned like Armo & Hickey.... Lee is 50/50 and the other two yes. Wouldn't bring in Sinclair over Brodie Murdoch either.

I'll concede the Hickey one.
But Armo's output over the last month has been ordinary, yep he tagged Ablett but that's not his job and whatever way you look at it DudLee isn't up to AFL standard.

Agree. Minimum 5 changes would send a strong message.Scollop wrote:Richo was seething after the Gold Coast loss. I hope he's still angry and I hope he does make a statement.

Except I'd say last week's poor performance was more to do with coaching than effort - so whatever message needed to be sent has hopefully been sent during training.

Agree- Richo didn't get the team up and firing for game time, and generally got pantsed by Eade. I hope everyone involved got the message.freely wrote:Except I'd say last week's poor performance was more to do with coaching than effort - so whatever message needed to be sent has hopefully been sent during training.
Re: changes for next week
Or is it the opposite - is he getting them up too early with Tony saying the club listed this as the most important game of the year. It was like the Rooey 300 game where it seemed the players had been too keyed up through the week and they end up flat for the game.spert wrote:Agree- Richo didn't get the team up and firing for game time, and generally got pantsed by Eade.
