I didn't bring it up. Wellard brought it up. Of all the incredible heroic performances tonight it is bizarre and perverse to single out Gilbert. Check the replay yourself.SemperFidelis wrote:Con. Plenty of heroes out there tonight and Gilbo was not one of them. I can think of 12 blokes who were epic tonight.
Enjoy the win mate, we don't need to find a worst.

We might even get 30 seconds in the media this week?
But it only be in the context that Geelong or Danger lost

Only Matthew Richardson stuck up for the Saints.

Geez you talk some crap Con, Gilbert played on Kersten who had 8 disposals and had no effect on the game.Con Gorozidis wrote:Really? Had 11 disposals as a loose man in defence. Turned a few over. Was one of our worst.WellardSaint wrote:I bag Gilbo all the time.

Watch the last 5 minutes and see how many times Gilbert saved our arses. But you won't because it doesn't suit your agenda

Mate. I didn't bring it up. I just find it odd that of all the heroes tonight someone singled out Gilbert for a special mention. It is absurd. I dont want to talk about Gilbert.BringBackMadDog wrote:Geez you talk some crap Con, Gilbert played on Kersten who had 8 disposals and had no effect on the game.Con Gorozidis wrote:Really? Who the hell is Kersten? An absolute nothing player. Ranked 347 in the AFL. Hardly a huge scalp. What about Delaney's job on Hawkins who is actually a gun player?

Chris Scott is choking on the Hawkins non free in the presser. Seriously. Have a bloody look number of non-free kicks to key forwards up our end. Suck it up mate.

Re: Saints v Cats game day thread
It was a bad miss...but the commentary team pegged it as being no worse than others paid/missed down the other end. I'll take it all, the lucky bounces, the 50/50 frees, whatever, after losing the 4 points to both the Hawks and North, we earned it. No top 8 scalp, eh?SemperFidelis wrote:Chris Scott is choking on the Hawkins non free in the presser. Seriously. Have a bloody look number of non-free kicks to key forwards up our end.
