No, clearly not his mistake alone even though he seems to like the smaller draft picks.


Unfortunately we are not much better than VFL when we get beaten in the basics of contested possession and even when we win th clearances we turn it over and kicking well, its a habit now that cant be turned around when under pressure with little ball player protection.

We have the worst midfield in the comp, some of the blame has to go on Richo's coaching.

Same old story. Dunstan, Ross and Armo are just too similar.

All inside mids yet we can't win a clearance. Carlton's midfield on paper is worse but they're a better team. Better coached.

We have Lee + Coughlan + Delaney.

Well based on their participation this year they will all be delisted and replaced by more 170-180cm players! Lees form has been suggested as good so why isn't he playing?

I still think our midfield is the bigger issue but our talls down back should not be ignored. Chips is likely to play only 1 equivalent full season over 2014-2016. Needs more support with some experience. Carlisle may not be the full answer but it makes the second third and fourth tall backment look taller.

Startling comparison. I see this too. Richmond had the same midfield issues and inconsistency.
