Hvae muted the stream I am watching. The nausea hype about Betts is appaling too. Luckily we won't ever hear it in a big finalGrimfang wrote:Ricciuto and Russell are straight out barracking for Adelaide.

Re: Match day thread - Saints v Crows
can they get on the plane now? please ? this is going to be soul destroying.
Re: Match day thread - Saints v Crows
No midfield presence whatsoever.
We only had a midfield for the last quarter last week against Freo....
They are so inconsistent, and people were proud of their efforts.

Just pathetic, last 2 weeks count for absolutely nothing when we serve this disgusting sh*t up interstate. Goddard has been absolutely horrible, not up to it at the moment why he is playing is beyond me. Questions need to be asked after this sh*tful performance

Playing like a team that had accepted defeat even before the first bounce.

Midfield should be ashamed of themselves.
Pathetic. No excuse for the lack of pressure. Any cabbage can run.

How is it we play interstate and the hometown umpiring is unbelievable, but we play an interstate team at home they usually still clean up on the frees?

Re: Match day thread - Saints v Crows
This was always going to be a blow out. We just beat the two bottom sides - 17th and 18th. It wasnt really good form.
Pies and Melbourne also arent much chop. If/When we beat a side in the top 10 I will get excited.
Next week is out chance.

Re: Match day thread - Saints v Crows
Yep too many small players. Little midfield development for true quality midfield players. Forwards will always perform well with quick precise use of the ball. Adelaide a clear example. The Fireman wrote:picks
Sad that we have dropped so far from other recent perennial losers like Melbourne and Carlton.
Midfield clearances and clear winners are needed to make an effective forward line.
You need to protect the ball handler to increase posession efficiency

Turned it off, next time, just forfeit, save the club a fortune in airfares.
Think of me long enough to make a memory.

Re: Match day thread - Saints v Crows
what did that achieve? joey calls for it and billiings kicks it 25 m backwards. Every week joyes numbers look good but he needs to provide more run, more fight, less turnovers, less easy receives that produce nought

Re: Match day thread - Saints v Crows
Just like against west coast we are completely impotent on both offense and defence.
Worrying that two facets of the game that are highly structured and can be coached and practiced -drilled - we are looking inept at.
Clearance and kick ins...we look amateur.
We're second to the ball and offering no resistance. Then uf we do get it we look completely incapable of scoring. Midfield needs to seriously lift. Nor good enough. Not even close

Re: Match day thread - Saints v Crows
We have had 11 inside 50s towards the end of the 2nd quarter
Crows have had 9 tackles - they dont even need to tackle us cause we either cant get the ball or when we do we give it straight back anyway
Midfield is getting absolutely annihilated

Not much talent at this club, gold coast rejects, hawthorn rejects, a couple of highly touted draft picks who are good workerbees not stars at best.
