Hugh is completely lost and so slo, treacle slow. Absolutely nothing coming from this guy.

Agree. Surely you are allowed to hold your ground. Terrible decision

Re: Match day thread - Saints v Crows
What is hurting us is our disposal effeciency. Just bombing it is turning it over. Dunstan should have kicked the second one. That's an 11 point turn around.Devilhead wrote:Crows winning the ball out of the centre

Don't understand why we can never string a decent set of possessions together against quality sides. Every possession we take is under pressure resulting in a contest which we usually lose.
We seriously need someone to start breaking lines or we will be lucky to score whatever we did in Perth.

Just covering up cracks the last 2 weeks. They should be 10 goals up on the balance of the game. Billings, Armo, Ross unsighted. Hickey getting slaughtered. Crouch, who was an emergency, has 17 touches.
Not good enough.
Not good enough.

I thought we had actually got our third free, turned into the Crows ninth.Toy Saint wrote:crap decision against Goddard, they jumped early into the middle of his back and the umpire called it blocking - just as well he missed the goal.

their skill level looks a few grades above ours and they are just holding on to 8th on the ladder. Shows how much we need to improve to fight for a finals berth. Need more speed.Need 3 players like jack steven

Goddard got in position to take the mark and got cleaned up from behind. Strange call.Toy Saint wrote:crap decision against Goddard, they jumped early into the middle of his back and the umpire called it blocking - just as well he missed the goal.

Re: Match day thread - Saints v Crows
I guess this is where we are at - can beat sides below us but not sides above us
The Dunstan miss was bad - at the time we would have been 1 pt down but then they blew it open

We certainly don't need three more players who get it a lot but kick it straight to the opposition. Got enough of them already.Scollop wrote:their skill level looks a few grades above ours and they are just holding on to 8th on the ladder. We look like a bunch of witches hats standing there- is Richo there today? Looks like nobody know what they are supposed to do. This is total rubbish.

50 should have been paid to Roo for the push and for clearly going over the mark. Neither paid.

What's wrong with the motivation? Richo had to f****** blast the s*** out of them just for us to beat Freo. Not coming with the right mindset at allDevilhead wrote:

Re: Match day thread - Saints v Crows
Geez, Get Armitage onto Crouch so he sees the ball. We need some winners in midfield, again.
Midfield clearances and clear winners are needed to make an effective forward line.
You need to protect the ball handler to increase posession efficiency

Re: Match day thread - Saints v Crows
The worse thing about this game is their recent draft picks are flogging our draft picks. It doesn't look good when we get torn a new one each week in the midfield for large parts of the game.
Crouch just another example this time. Cripps next week (sh!t)!?
