Bloody Beautiful. Gotta be happy with that. Will enjoy the win.
Coaching staff must still work out what happened in the 2nd qtr after our mids dominated the 1st. That is a big issue for me.

well done lads. freo gave it their absolute all, and we responded and ran all over them when it counted.

We thought we had it in the bag way too early and let them back in, not happy. Love Brucey, and he should have got a free/goal early in the first, but needs to lift more when the heat's on. McCartin growing by the week, just magnificent to see...the confidence flows through to Membrey who's been great in turn.

Not at all, I never posted during the match so don't need to blush
Ordinary footy though, centre clearance count for two quarters abominable.

Second and third quarters were absolute rubbish. Absolutely owned by the bottom side.

Re: Match Thread Saints v Dockers Rd 10 @ Etihad
Freo got a huge kick up the arse at quarter time and their attack on ball after this was immense - we stood back and let them get to the ball first however the effort took its toll and we were able to overrun them
Whether you are the bottom side or top side if you bring effort and desperation you can beat anyone
Hopefully that was lesson learnt today for our boys

I think our system is very, very good.
We're very well coached.
Its masking some deep personnel issues in my opinion

I've got no problem with that. Short of GWS's golden stockpile, every club tries to cover personnel issues with "systems" and tactics.Johnny Member wrote:I think our system is very, very good.

We were the best team in the comp in 2009, but there's no way we had the best list.
As long as we are always looking to improve personnel, We'll be fine.

They were disgraceful rubbish.
