They'll have won 3 in a row and lost their hunger by then. Ripe for the plucking. Our timing will be perfect.Con Gorozidis wrote:I have a feeling we might end up making a GF in 2019 or 2020 only to come up against an unstoppable Giants side.

Anyone else starting think GWS might win as soon as this year?
Their core is no longer that young and their senior players - Shaw,Mummy, Ward, Patfull, Johnson & Palmer are all solid. They have the luxury of resting Griffen and Davis to get them right.

The AFL CEO will be wetting his pants in anticipation - and will have his hand up for another gig at the Press Club Luncheon in Canberra to gloat.

The core of the side is youngsters and finals are a different caper. The nerves and the build up to a finals game will be tenfold. I know they've got some experience on field (and they've got Lenny) but their first year in the top 8 is not going to yield a flag imo. You need to earn some scars and teams usually get a bit of pain and disappointment that propels them to the summit the following yearCon Gorozidis wrote:Anyone else starting think GWS might win as soon as this year?

Rory Lobb could become the next superstar of the game and they picked him up at pick 29 in the 2013 draft.

That's why they won't miss Cam McCarthy.Con Gorozidis wrote:Rory Lobb could become the next superstar of the game and they picked him up at pick 29 in the 2013 draft.
The Saints are under review, will it make any difference to the underachievers ?
