Blamed the players intensity. Didn't take any responsibility for picking an badly under sized backline.

Re: Richardson's Presser
Interestingly after 5 goals in the first quarter, the player who did most damage to us on the scoreboard was Le Cras with 6 goals.
So who had the responsibility for him?

As ex-president Peter Summers said:
“If we are going to be a contender, we may as well plan to win the bloody thing.”
St Kilda - At least we have a Crest!

Geary was pretty poor... But Sinclair would have kicked half a dozen if he played with WC today

Re: Richardson's Presser
Wont be mentioned . When Geary keeps an average player like Jeffy Garlett goal less he is hailed as a hero. When a decent player like Le Cras touches him up we pretend it never happened and blame the midfield. Shhhh! Geary and Gilbo are protected species. Flower petals when they have ok games - silence and denial when they have shockers And they have their fair share of shockers.Jacks Back wrote:GearyTo the top wrote:Interestingly after 5 goals in the first quarter, the player who did most damage to us on the scoreboard was Le Cras with 6 goals.

Re: Richardson's Presser
It should have been Dempster, who has a good record against him, as he does against most small/mid fwds.To the top wrote:Interestingly after 5 goals in the first quarter, the player who did most damage to us on the scoreboard was Le Cras with 6 goals.

Unfortunately he was otherwise occupied against the wc key fwds
I am marching in the Saints army

Geary. Le Cras is the biggest down hill skier there is. Never won a hard ball in his lifeTo the top wrote:Interestingly after 5 goals in the first quarter, the player who did most damage to us on the scoreboard was Le Cras with 6 goals.

In Springfield, they're eating the dogs. The people that came in, they're eating the cats. They’re eating – they are eating the pets of the people that live there.

Very poor - it was the time to fall on his sword admit his errors and apologise to the supporters...
Richo took the team back 3 years yesterday that was a worse performance than any in our wooden spoon year. Surely this year we should expect at least to be competitive.

You just can't keep selecting that Dad's army short arse backline. Imagine this in an era when kicking is everything. A backline with Geary, Dempster and Gilbert in it. 3 players with the worst disposal in the AFL. Crazy.

If not your opinion is irrelevant.
You are garbage - Enough said
Re: Richardson's Presser
Just saw Richo's Member message. Transcript below:
Hey Saints fan. Disappointing result. We think we were a bit too big down back with both Dempster AND Gilbert - that was crazy tall. Next week we'll probably play Lonie at full back and Sincs at CHB. Perhaps Rooey's new kid can be the third tall as an AFL approved early father-son.
We're trying to get special dispensation from the AFL to put the burnt dwarf on our list this year due to his intimate Saints connection so we can get even smaller players on our list . His money from a Current Affair has probably run out so we can get him cheap. That Tyrion Lannister from GOT is a real little fighter so we'll make some overtures to him during the off-season. Is Tattoo still stuck on fantasy island? He might want a change and would be a good power forward for us being just a bit shorter than Membrey.
p.s It was all the players fault and me and the selectors never, ever, ever make mistakes. Go Saints

Re: Richardson's Presser
Richo is still embarrassed and is trying to think of something to say.
