Does Lonie have a nickname?
If not it should be Jack Russell or Terrier because I reckon he plays like a big dog in a little dog's body. Love the way he goes about it.
Still waiting for closure ... if you get my drift.

Re: Does Lonie have a nickname?
Little-Boy Lonie (LBL) is what I call him. The idea came from Rex Hunt calling Matty Lappin "Little-Boy Lappin". Of course, Lappin, like Lonie, looked like a little boy in comparison to his peers.
Every time he kicks a goal, the commentators should say "and one for the little boy who lived down the lane!"

Should be "only" as in "only the lonely" . Which if you wanted to take it a bit further just make it Roy

Re: Does Lonie have a nickname?
I like your sense of imagination. Unfortunately, we'll most likely find out his nickname is something really bland like Lones, because his teammates would have thought of it, and it's no secret footy players generally aren't the most imaginative types of people.terry smith rules wrote:Should be "only" as in "only the lonely" . He's a little quicker than Abalone, but I like the irony factor in this one.SainterK wrote:Abba?
