...and if I remember correctly told us that Roo would be lucky to play 10 more games and would likely retire mid season?
There used to be a stonecold poster on here years ago. Or was it 3:16? In any case, they were seemingly an In the Know, something I doubt very much this version of stonecold is.
So, yeah, I call bulls#%&..
Here it is:

Hate to be the bearer of bad news, but Rooey wont get to 320 games (maybe not even 310), I hope he gets to 350, but it won't happen!
So we potentially only have 6 games of Rooey left??!!
However this is more likely than Heppell coming to the Saints.
Linton Lodger wrote:If Heppell chooses to leave, I think we could look attractive as his best destination, given our exciting list & what we can easily pay him.
However, Essendon aren't as in bad shape as people think, if they keep all or at least the majority of the suspended 12. I'd rather be an Essendon supporter than a Carlton, Richmond, Collingwood or Brisbane supporter at the moment. Worsfold is doing a good job with the top ups. Daniher is a gun and if they get the 12 back they will immediately be in finals contention next year. They were incompetently coached by Hird despite all the other worries.
Is that you, Robbo???
Sorry, that is harsh. I apologise profusely.
Regardless of how Essendon's list looks for 2017, they injected these players with unknown substances, caused 3 years of heartache, gave them 12 months of sitting on the sidelines, and god knows what future implications. If these 12 players had a shred of integrity they'd leave that place in their dust and move to greener pastures.
It staggers me that players will stay having been through the last 4 years. I would hold a grudge till the day I died....
No I'm not 'Robbo', heaven forbid. Just saying they've secured Hooker and if the suspended players return, their list is hardly a basket case.

Yes correct, posted under both, same poster who people tried to laugh off forum when I told you Hamill and the G-Train were gonna be Saints players!!!! So Whatever, just passing on what I've
heard. I want to also see Rooey play as long as he can, but also understand he is one serious head injury away for finishing. So whatever!!!!"
'Cause StoneCold Said So'!!!!! We will be great again once Billy is back playing!!!!!
Cmon StoneCold. You're making Con look like a latecomer. I'm sure 16 other clubs are whispering in his ear.

Started originally somewhere between 1996-2000, not sure now!!!!!
Longtime ago anyway, yes many clubs in his ear, just letting people know we are one and high up in the pecking order, should he decide not to return to Bombers!!!!!

Yes I know there has been talk about contracts being set aside but I seriously doubt this. I would say the chances of the Saints getting Heppell are very very low.
I notice stonecold doesnt say 'locked in' but says 'locked in on'.
The latter merely means we have made enquiries with his manager. Probably one phone call.
And the same article implies BJ will be dumped as Essendon captain to make way for Heppell.
