What a pack of drainers a bunch of you lot are... We are rebuilding and let's focus on the future not the past. Don't like it well then either do something about or stop being keyboard warriors...
Keep up the good work Tony and don't listen to the haters...

Re: Freeman Again
That's what I took away from it too. It's all about expectation setting. After saying that, any senior games he plays in 2016 (if he does indeed play any) will be a massive bonus. But we're thinking long term.Bluthy wrote:By the way Richo isn't really accurately quoted. He doesn't rule out Freeman playing AFL this year like the clickbait headline said, he just says he wants Freeman to right for next year.
Honestly, the kid isn't even 21 yet. Let's play the long game with him, because he legitimately looks like a player that could improve our side by a massive margin.
As an aside, Freeman is the only player inside the top 30 from that draft without a Wikipedia page. Let's hope one day he has a Wikipedia page more full of accolades than any of the other 29

Don't pretend the plan was always 0 games this year and dont pretend you actually truly know. I LOVE tony74 and think he is great. But we all need to concede there are some medical uncertainties in life. Just like there are some uncertainties with some of our young players in general.tony74 wrote:Which part was wrong Con? He trained yesterday and trained at Moorabbin this morning.tony74 wrote:It's basically just tight. Obviously he just wants it to be right so any tightness he wants to be cautious about it. Nothing unexpected. You don't do multiple laps at reasonable pace ( as he did this morning at Seaford ) if hes re injured it again. He'll get there.
As I said, he'll get there.
As Donald Rumsfeld said we have 'known unknowns' and 'unknown unknowns'. And I would respectfully point out that AR is also not some all knowing omniscient sage with a crystal ball and perfect foresight. There are plenty of things we just don't know. You don't have to act certain on every single topic just to appear 'in control'.

Re: Freeman Again
i dunno, but if i leased a couple of cars for a few years and both sat in a garage for the entire first year, well i'd be rather miffed. i certainly wouldn't be thinking - hey, all that means is next year both cars will be a lot fresher than if i'd driven them this year. would i consider it a bad deal? well what businessman wouldn't?
Spin it however you want - it's not what the club would have planned, and in hindsight they would have done it differently. But all we can do is make the best out of what we have and hope we get to see them on the park eventually, and playing good footy. no point crying over split milk.

If my dad had left the family's FJ in the garage it would be worth a decent quid now.desertsaint wrote:i dunno, but if i leased a couple of cars for a few years and both sat in a garage for the entire first year, well i'd be rather miffed. i certainly wouldn't be thinking - hey, all that means is next year both cars will be a lot fresher than if i'd driven them this year. would i consider it a bad deal? well what businessman wouldn't?
