That's the spirit Bluthy. Hawthorn are wrong by tring to win four flags in a row - it's all about the draft picks! :D

Lonnie is a crap city. Hobart a million times better (and a nice stadium there also)
Don't come here then.

Ground is brilliant, surface rated by players as best in the country and locals are not so far up their own behind that you cant speak to a stranger without being accused of a crime.

A little thing called customer service still exists in Launceston also.

Very nice place.

Which city do you call home?
If you like living in the 20th ceuntury.

Mind you that does have some advantages.

Plus knowing that we have Carlisle ready to go who must be extra keen given our performances.
And we have Goddard who will be a player.

Well let me put it this way then

A Saints player proudly wearing our colours gets knocked out in a contest

Showing no sympathy or support some supporters are prepared to bag the player even though he got knocked out giving his all

Terry, I agree with you and I agree that Con's comment was pretty average. But comment on his opinion, not him personally.

So it's ok to bag player but not social commentator / supporter? Disgraceful to bag player who gives his all in like that....free hit. Say what you like holier than thous but it's unfair, foul and unsupporter- like. I'll bet Rioli was glad Geary was off ground!

Simon, I agree with you re bagging players the way Geary gets bagged on here.

It's not against the forum rules though, unless it's a clear attempt to inflame or troll.

We had a lengthy discussion on here some time ago about 'third person' bagging...i.e bagging or putting down someone who is not a poster or on the forum. The outcome was that enforcing rules around bagging players or third parties on the forum was too complex and difficult. Hence we have rules about direct personal attacks or commentary on other posters, but not about non-posters, excepting of course obscene, foul, discriminatory or offensive posts.

Too many positives to type from my iPad. I feel like the guys learnt heaps from the loss to the dogs about setting up better across the ground and getting over to support.

Lee looked better and better as the match went on.... Paddy is going to be a fantastic footballer for the saints... Midfield will keep getting better and better... Lots of things to like bout the Sainters

Watching the replay now.

Dwayne Russell, does he commentate? Seems like all he does is call the players name.

We could all only hope that's all he does because usually he spouts drivel. We were too busy cheering/jeering at home to listen to him though.

Richo said it was the flattest he has seen the players after the game against the Dorks.

Noticed that Firey.............. now he needs to get them 'up' and positive for GWS, if they play with such pressure and structure and commitment a win could be awaiting. Up to the coaching staff to get them 'up and focussing' again.

We wuz robbed.
Eliminate the turn overs and we win. Take the umpires out of it.

Richo just needs to concentrate on all the positives with the players during the week, and then tighten up some of his defensive structures. I wish people would lay off Geary- he ain't no champ, but he did a serviceable job yesterday on the smaller Hawk forwards. When he went off after that knock in the last quarter, we lost a little bit of mobility in the back half with Fisher and Dempster struggling to get any pace up and provide options.

Definitely need the 8 day break. They're pretty knackered, both physically and mentally.

Plus GWS are currently thrashing port adelaide. It doesn't auger well. SO much for going 3-3.

We wouldve beaten the hawks by 6 goals.
Gearys play on ... Goal to hawks
Umpire 15m BS ... Goal to hawks
T.Lee mistake (speed of game) ... Goal to hawks
Savage shocking brainfade .... Goal to hawks
And there was 2/3 more. It was out amatuer mistakes. Clean that up and wow. We smashed em.

And people giving it to geary??? You have no idea. NONE.
Geary smashwd rioli. He is tough hard and stops whoever he plays on. His diposal can be bad at times and frustrating but his worth as a general outweighs the one or two brainfades per game.
