Umpire 12 should be wearing a Hawthorn jumper.
Do not meddle in the affairs of Dragons; for you are a quick and tasty morsel.

How about Roo having a strong discussion with them after the game then?

Devastated. For the players. There was not much more they could have done. FFS.

Top effort - equal to the premiers all day! Just bad luck (and bad umpiring) divided them.
And what about Paddy!
And what about Paddy!

Re: Match Thread Saints v Hawks @ Tassie
Well done Saints, you took it right up to them. You can thank the umpires for that Dorks!

So, so disappointed. My 10 year old is hysterical and it is pretty hard to disagree with him that the umpires influenced that last quarter. But so, so proud of our boys.

Great game. So proud of the Saints. What an exciting future we have.
That manic commitment to playing on is genius.

EF Hawthorn.
That pathetic ump at their end was a disgrace.
We played a ripping game.
If Paddy sinks that one we win.
Got so much to look forward to when we get some youth in the backline.
Go SAINTS, all the way from LA!

cannot throw yourself in like that any more. its considered dangerous. in years gone by like when hawthorn won their premierships in the 80s it was considered gutsyst.byron wrote:What was that last Hawks free for? With about 25 secs to go...
