Back line disposal has been shocking, if not from that we'd be even .

Kicking out of defence is scary.

True, but we're kicking against the wind; let's hope we pick up next quarter.8856brother wrote:Kicking out of defence is scary.

If you take off the 2 goals we gave them it was not a bad quarter.
First was Savage.
Was Geary the second culprit?

Turnovers from savage, lee and whomever kicked out on the full results in goals. There's your 18 point margin.

Re: Match Thread Saints v Hawks @ Tassie
we are losing only because of some unforced silly turnovers. Other than that they did very well that Qrt.
Re: Match Thread Saints v Hawks @ Tassie
We're doing ok - lots of pressure. Hawks just move it so damn well and we did some shocking turnovers. We struggled to get it out of the back against the wind with Geary, Dempster and Lee - Lee hopefully will settle a bit and kick better. Our forward line is working well and we seemed to win a lot of clearances with Hickey doing well inthe ruck.

Re: Match Thread Saints v Hawks @ Tassie
Shocking disposal errors, and many not under pressure- probably nerves against the Hawks. We can't hand the game to top teams by stupid footy. We stopped taking risks in the later part of the quarter, and stopped quick ball movement. Richo needs to tell the boys to man-up off the ball, and the midfield just need to work harder off the ball. Might be missing Dunstan a little in the tight stuff.

Re: Match Thread Saints v Hawks @ Tassie
Watch how the hawks forwards are allowed to push and hold..the umps are only looking at the soft touches from our defenders....defending is impossible, hate to be Lee playing under these circumstances
