FYI markp's original post remains alive and well on page 1 of this thread.
We have done no editing in this thread and unless we make an unfortunate and a genuine error, we never edit or remove without actually stating it openly.
When you have a chance, I would like to take you on a tour of Melbourne's Holocaust Museum. My neighbour is the curator there and she would be delighted to arrange a special personal tour. There you will be able to better understand the intent and actions of the nazis. The actions of which impacted greatly on the families of many posters.

I have not been to Melbourne's, but have visited the Holocaust Memorial in Berlin and on a later trip the Mauthausen Concentration Camp on Anzac Day as we just happened to passing on our bicycles and thought it appropriate given the day to detour to visit the camp. Both were very worth visiting, though both were sombre and somewhat difficult experiences, quite horrific at times.skeptic wrote:

Seriously condescending last paragraph simon. not needed at all. Reads like a teacher telling off a student. Neither you nor the poster warrants that role.BackFromUSA wrote:Hi Matrixmatrix wrote:Jacks Back wrote:Who?markp wrote:What would Sun Tzu do?

You know nothing of my heritage or my families
Ive been quoted in the thread, wheres the post gone?
For all you know my family could have been greatly effected by what happened all those years ago and hence why i used the word nazi .
You know nothing jon snow
I tend to agree. I think in matrix's defence he was using the word nazi as an expression without the full intent of it's true meaning. A lot of people do it and it's not meaning harmdesertsaint wrote:Seriously condescending last paragraph simon. not needed at all. Reads like a teacher telling off a student. I want to re-iterate what Simon said about the mods doing no editing or deleting of threads or posts without notice to posters.BackFromUSA wrote:

Randomly suggesting that we went on a 'nazi remove thread escapade' doesn't sit well with me.
Am not commenting on the actual use of the word 'nazi'. I'm calling out and refuting the random suggestion that the mods would casually delete threads or posts without notice to posters.saynta wrote: He made a mistake. All nazi and Hitler references should warrant a warning in my opinion.
Anothe poster recently compared me to hitler.
Yeah, he was wrong. You didn't do it. Anyone who can read would be aware of that.st.byron wrote:saynta wrote:

Nazi and Hitler references are offensive as that's what they are intended to be.
Your quotes above are all stuffed up st b.
[he National Socialist German Workers' Party (German: About this sound Nationalsozialistische Deutsche Arbeiterpartei (help·info), abbreviated NSDAP), commonly referred to in English as the Nazi Party (/ˈnɑːtsi/), was a political party in Germany active between 1920 and 1945 that practised Nazism. Its predecessor, the German Workers' Party (Deutsche Arbeiterpartei; DAP), existed from 1919 to 1920.

As dictator of Nazi Germany, he initiated World War II in Europe with the invasion of Poland in September 1939 and was a central figure of the Holocaust.
We'll see......All nazi and Hitler references should warrant a warning in my opinion.
