I don't think any of us could have expected this.
I bet he's feeling on top of the world.

Spoke to Gim at the HOF dinner last night, he had a smile from ear to ear. He said he pulled up fine, albeit he will be sore for a few days. He wanted to play in the last quarter but they wouldn't let him get back out. Great kid

Re: Freeman in VFL 2nds this week
Unbelievable.
Let's hope he recovers well and they continue to be conservative with him.
Yes it's development league, and yes he had a lot of handballs. But 46 in 3 quarters is still a great sign.
Fatigue is the danger for him, not just within games, but also week-to-week. Hopefully he can get some continuity.
Must have given him great confidence to know he can still go out onto a football field (at any level) and feel like he can play footy.

Looks like Sandy Seniors and Development League team both have the bye this week. So no game for NF.matrix wrote:Thanks snoops.
Reckon he might be in the ressies next week then
Hopefully tony74 can comment on this during the week.
May be good timing given his big first up run. Who knows? Anyhoo, appears he'll have to sit this week out regardless.

Rather lame, but here goes. I'm sure you will appreciate the sentiment.
How to get an A-grade mid for nothing/nada/zilch/nix ... Ask Collingwood. They'll give you one for Free, man!

Not exactly free, cost us our second round pick in this years draft.
That makes it impossible to get three picks in the top 20 without giving up some quality

Re: Freeman in VFL 2nds this week
Could really have been a crafty pick over the long haul. Is exactly what we could do more of all things being well with the hammys.
Speaking of which, looking at the Savell photos he looks like he has hammy's growing on hammys !
I'm very envious being a "hammy" challenged person
