Three Things from today's game

Really looking forward for 2016 to get started!
Will be a tough match up with the Power, their forward line is potent!

Three things I want to see from the game
1) Brucey to kick 3+ and set himself for an even stronger year than last year
2)Lonie, Billings, Gresham & Weller to put on enormous defensive pressure and force Port to turn it over.
3) Ross, Acres and Dunstan to get plenty of possessions. We know that Armo & Steven will get 25+ but we need these three boys to take the next step if we're to improve on last season!

What three things do you want to see today?

Hoping for a good honest display with some skill on display and some straight kicking. No injuries. Paddy to kick 3 in the VFL. Will be pleased.

Hoping for a minimum 2.5 quarter effort today, ideally 3 good quarters.

I don't think it's reasonable to expect 4 good quarters given the hostile environment and our lack of preparation due to the Mackay debacle.

For me what I'm looking forward to see is seeing these midfield kids all getting out there together - Acres, Ross, Gresham, Dunstan, billings, Steven, Armo, Newnes - thats the future right there. Freeman might come in latter in the season. They won't set the game on fire yet, but we need to get these guys all out there playing together, beginning to understand each others game, learning to talk and direct themselves and set themselves up. Chemistry is a huge part of successful midfields. We'll still be chopping and changing a lot this year but seeing this next dynasty coming together is damn exciting.
