Likely Bruce to relief ruck, moves Lee up forward and Gilbert to Relive down back. Throws up a few options for us.

Why single out Lee? At least he was good most of the year last year in the VFL down back. Lee was shifted fwd in nab 1 after paddy went down . nab 2 was washed out and lee wasnt picked for nab 3. What has he done wrong? The reality is we will go in this week with a few players who are under done. Eli and Sinclair also havent touched the ball in quite some time either at any level. Thats just where we are at right now.

Simple a player whos sole purpose is to lock it in the 50 metre attacking zone, either by tagging a forward or zoning a defensive structure, By locking it in the forward zone allows other players to come in and attack, hence the flood. If you run off your opponent or not defending the rebound and you to attack to create space and your teammate looses possession or f*cks up youre caught out on the wrong side off the ball and youre sent back to the 2s to work on your defensive game.
First priority lock it in.

Yeah that seems a bit weird. Can't they change these extended lists before they submit the 22? I think they had to upgrade someone before rd 1. A worry for Pierce that they don;t consider him an adequate backup ruck. To be the fourth string ruck in the fifth bottom team is not a position of strength. Could be our new Spencer White project player that comes to nothing.

Rooey has to play mostly forward surely otherwise Bruce will be pretty isolated. No Membrey so that gives Lee a chance to play.

All Forwards MUST be able to defend and attack
All Defenders MUST be able to defend and attack
All Mids MUST be able to defend and attack

If a player does not contribute either way and only defends, basically you're a man down and it gets exposed.

A lock down player is a rarity... Unless they can be a threat offensively when required.
