Joey - 250 Games

In the excitement of the start of the season, and with Rooey's 300th and the 50 year anniversary coming up, Joey's 250th this week against Port has been overlooked a bit.

Great effort from Joey. 250 games at one club is a super effort, especially when he wasn't one of these guys who is "AFL ready" straight out of the draft. He took the long road, but has had a great career thus far.

He's still a damn good player - outside and inside. WAnts to keep playing for one more after this one at least - 300 isn't beyond him. Will be interesting how we "exit out" these legends.

Joey was not a slow starter..he was held back because of his size but was recognised by opposition in the 2s by being tagged often

I have memories of when he overdid the weights and ended up looking like Gladson Small- - but has refinde his physic since then.

Joey has been a key player to come out of the GT era and has been in for the long haul. What an incredible career he's had. I really hope he can still make an impact as a player this year. He has always had an abundance of talent. Would be great if the team could really rise to occasion and make this milestone memorable for him.
