Re: NAB game against Brisbane 6 Mar
Gutted about the cancellation, but it was inevitable given the conditions.....
.... once again our boys were magnificent with their kindness towards the fans after the game had been cancelled....they wandered around the main bar and deck chatting with supporters, posing for photos with fans, signing autographs......they were simply wonderful ambassadors for the club....
...I haven't seen Mrs BF so starstruck and all aflutter for a long time....(it was very cute...and I reckon I've got a chance tonight!)
..Poor Jarryn Geary got stuck with me and he was just fantastic... he was the one asking me about my Saints passion; and seemed to take a real interest in my stories of following The Saints from my childhood days growing up in East Bentleigh...
Caught up with DWOODROW again (he's a champion bloke).....he told me that he used to be a Kangas supporter before The Saints signed Armo...(and Armo's Dad used to be a Tigers supporter)

Re: NAB game against Brisbane 6 Mar
Cannot speak highly enough of how wonderful the players were with supporters, bratty..... both at 'training' yesterday; and after the cancelled game today.... They (and the club) deserve a massive pat on the back.

Exactly. Glad BakedFan got something out of it and hopefully the Mrs will be kind tonight.stevie wrote:Bakesfan, the cancellation close to being worth with it! The nil score today enhances the chance of scoring tonight!

well they could have scheduled it in Alice. Heck a torrential downpour here will just bring more people in, and wash the dust from the grass!

Why does it seem it's always us that get screwed by the AFL? I'm sick of it!

In your opinion. I have asked a very simple question 3 times. No response. They're struggling. No cheap shot. Wrong thread II agree. No response in the correct thread though.chook23 wrote:cheap shot that is not necessary8856brother wrote:AFL going as well as our mods.

Good news-
No injuries - unless someone comes down with a cold or foot infection
No MRP calls
