It was obvious three days ago that this game would be a wash out. I'm not angry that it's been cancelled, because going ahead would have been ridiculous, however something should have been arranged days ago.

People who flew up for the game should certainly be reimbursed their flight and hotel costs and a little extra for the effort to see diddly squat. We will probably do a match simulation thing on Monday but no where near as good.

Not only cancelled by Patrick Keane on Twitter just said that the game won't be rescheduled

So both the Lions and the Saints only get two preseason matches while all other teams get three.

We will therefore go in underdone to the season and get flogged in R1.

Really great that the AFL in their incompetence have not only cancelled a game but won't reschedule it.

They really don't care unless your team is GOld Coast, Sydney, or GWS.

Brisbane and Saints don't count.

It's Lions v Saints, the AFL couldn't care less if our preseason is compromised or not.

Saints won't blast them. Finnis is after an AFL top job down the line. His good mate Gill will make sure of it, unless he rocks the boat.

Apparently Brisbane offered to organise the game to be played there earlier in the week, but the AFL sat on their hands. This isn't really good enough.

Foxtel subscribers dudded and like me, turn the telly off. I reckon Foxtel would be pretty unhappy with the AFL who really should have moved the game down the road somewhere, considering the weather was going to be a massive problem and this was known days out.

Just been raised that in our pre-season thus far, by the time we play Melbourne next week we won't have played a game against opposition for over three weeks, and we have only played one competitive match in 6 and a half months. Wow...
