The Saints will finish ?? in 2016?
Where do you think our Saints will finish on the ladder this season, and with how many wins?
For me it is 10th with 10 wins.

In Springfield, they're eating the dogs. The people that came in, they're eating the cats. They’re eating – they are eating the pets of the people that live there.

We'll start slow but come home with a wet sail a la 2003. To finish 11th.
Re: The Saints will finish ?? in 2016?
I'm going to guess 14th with 7 wins. Without our big new recruits Carlisle and probably Freeman not coming online until next year, I just can't see us catching up to the teams ahead of us last year and surely GC can't be as s***. We've gained some respect in the competition but that means teams will be put more homework into us. I think we over-achieved a bit last year so I'd be happy with the same wins and position.

We'll win the NAB challenge and get a finals birth.
If that doesn't pan out this year then 14th.

11th. I'd love for the guys to finish the season really strongly. A bit like the club did in 2003. The light at the end of the tunnel shone so brightly at the end of that season that it was almost blinding.

Re: The Saints will finish ?? in 2016?
I still think we need one more high end young player (midfielder) to add to our list. So I dont want to finish higher than 13th or 14th.
So 6-7 wins seems about right. Hopefully we maintain a % over 80 at season's end.
Then 2017 I think we should be looking for 12 wins.

You really wouldn't want to win 12 games? Not that I think we have any hope of that but that would be great IMO.

Depends how we win them I guess. If we are good enough to win 12 games then maybe we dont need any more draft picks.ripplug66 wrote:Con Gorozidis wrote:I still think we need one more high end young player (midfielder) to add to our list. So I dont want to finish higher than 13th or 14th.

If Acres, Ross, Freeman and Gresham all have big years and we win 12 games on the back of a firing young midfield - then yes 12 wins would be good and I wont give a stuff about draft picks.
