This reminds me of the biblical parable, you know the one where the Pharisees and the angry mob bring a naked, bruised and beaten woman into the Temple for judgement by JC (No, not Jake Carlisle, but Jesus Christ). She had been caught in the act of adultery, which had, apparently, been witnessed by many of the baying crowd (What were they doing watching in the first place? Was this the ancient Middle Eastern, semetic version of porn?). Anyway, I digress. As the crowd handed her to JC, he declared "Judge ye not this woman. Yes, she has sinned, but let he amongst you who has not sinned cast the first stone. The crowd stood in stunned silence, until as if from nowhere, a rock flew out of the crowd and smashed the poor woman in the head, killing her instantly. And the Lord was heard to cry out,"Oh for God's sake mother! How many times have I told you not to come to these things! Here endeth the lesson. Go in peace, to love and serve the saints, my children.

He was late for training because there was a fatilty on the road
Not his fault, he prob left early enough to get to training
Should he be showing some initiative and be getting his ass to training half hr or even an hr before everyone else to prove he wants it?. Prob yeah...that's what I'd be doing...proving that im in it for the long haul.
But that's me and jake is not me
It's not like he slept in or had a big one the night before
It was a legit reason
The bloke is also selling his house from what I've heard, so the commute for him is easier and quicker

God I know plenty of blokes even in their 30s that play a fair bit of Xbox

I'm not crucifying him just looking closely at what we got and doing some fun pop-psychology. If you're hearing it a "dozen times" that's because I'm just defending my original argument. Its a called a "discussion" board after all and this was an incident that happened yesterday. Until the draft happens its something to talk about. I don't understand all the stress. Everyone seems to want Jake to be this untouchable golden boy and are scared to hear anything different. Thats' tedious to me. To use the movie topic on this board, "He's not the messiah, he's just a very naughty boy" at the moment.

Gee I'm upset you don't rate me. I find you very arrogant and unable to discuss things like a normal person. Do you care.
