Just about to go into the supermarket but had to keep tuned into the AR interview. AR comes across as pretty transparent and I thought later that this probably makes it easier for the young guys to understand him and what his expectations are. He did sound frustrated with the JC media circus at the time but focused on the fact that JC is still a young man and will get the support he needs at St. Kilda. It seemed to me that for Jake It's about building on positivity and showing faith in the coach and whole St.Kilda community by embracing the supportive environment now available.

I could imagine the players respecting AR,
He pointed out that it was encouraging for our club to have Freeman, Rice & Carlisle want to come to St.Kilda but then he had to deal with an unexpected shamozzle. I did get the impression that it is now in the past and it is now time for positivity (Richo style that is).

Loved hearing about his learnings overseas. I get the impression Richo would be difficult to phase. Not easily overwhelmed.

I think he meant difficult to faze.

Richo says all the right stuff without it sounding rehearsed & he comes across as a genuine good guy. I love listening to him talk, the club need to hang on to him for sure.
