Regardless of the recent scandal, this guy needs to be made to feel welcome by the club. Considering what he has been through at Essendon over the past three years, he has become a very unhappy footballer. He is a proven talent of the game and he needs to be nurtured and given a new lease of life in order for us to get him to perform at his highest potential. I reckon Richo and Roo are just the right people to mentor him and help steer him on the right track.

Agree. Now is the time/opportunity for Jake to reassess himself - a new start and hopefully, a new attitude towards life. Grasp it with both hands Jake and the Saints supporters will support you, but you will have to play your part by showing the Club something right from the outset.

Clean slate as far as I am concerned. Looking fwd to a decade with Jake and Goddard down back. Should make good viewing.

I also really appreciate how good Dempster has been all this time. Rarely plays a poor game and hardly ever gets injured. Absolute bedrock.
