No idea how we get Carlisle, Weller and O'Meara for pick 5, 24 and next years first rounder.

O'Meara alone is worth 2 early first rounders.

Add Freeman and Rice to those 3 - and wow!

Have a feeling that a player or two on the way out as part of these trades.

Well if half of it turns out, I'll be happy, Notice Weller is a chance

We are keen on omeara. Was of the opinion that it was more of a next year trade target. Let's see how it plays out I guess!

Thats pretty much what jaxons said a couple of weeks ago as well.
Starting to remind me of an old saying about chickens hatching.

Sounds like Carlisle is done deal and Weller a possibility, 8 a possibility and JOM next year a possibility??

Perhaps he is saying pick 8 for Weller ... Or pick 8 and 1st round next year for O'Meara if GC are prepared to trade a year early before he is out of contract?

Otherwise we need to start adding players to draft picks to get both done.

Also to get pick 8 we need to offer more than two early 20s picks ... Might need to be all 3. We might get a 3rd rounder back.

To get Freeman we then only really have next years 2nd round to offer and that would be possibly better than a second rounder this year given the relative depth of the draft in both years.

But that would leave us with round 3, 4 and 5 in next years draft!

Unfortunately to get all this done this year we would need a player or players to be traded out IMHO.

Or we accept a poor draft status for 2016 draft and that may be the plan as the focus may become free agents in 2016 to plug remaining holes in the list?

If all this happens how does Rice get to the Saints. They are obliged to take him.

Ignoring the JOM part the first part was posted on BF by Stavo way earlier. A more reliable psoter than BS.

Personally I reckon BS just reposts various rumours that are in circulation. And a lot are wrong. ie His recent Kelly post.
